About Me

I finished my degree in Communication Sciences in 2014 and have since focussed my studies on human behaviour, personalities, personal development and relationships in the field of coaching. I am a passionate believer in creating the person you dream to be and doing the things that truly matter to you. I hope to help many people in their journey towards personal wellness, success and development. 

I’m excited about the future because I choose to see good intentions, beautiful creations and endless possibilities. I’ll always strive to make my dreams goals and my goals daily habits. You’ll get me excited about just anything – to enjoy life is a choice I gladly make.

But let’s skip the small talk and chat about the meaning of life, your wildest dreams, scents, God, memories and galaxies. I’m not impressed by your title or what you own, but how you treat people and yourself. I care deeply and therefore I want to help you see that your circumstances are building blocks; apply them well and you’ll build yourself an empire.

My purpose is to be loving and kind. Yes, I make mistakes, but before the day is over I’ll revisit it and decide how I’ll handle it next time. The most significant experiences in my life were when I could help someone have a life-changing “aha” moment, realising that the sky is no limit. My greatest achievements started with a positive attitude, picking the building blocks, building, changing and rebuilding, until I saw the results.

I am passionate about individualism and want to see uniqueness flourish. Be kind to yourself. If you made a mistake, forgive yourself, adjust and just try again.

Sometimes we don’t feel like doing things and it is okay, just take one tiny step in the right direction. Whatever I go through I remind myself that my faith rests not on what I am or what I’m facing, but who Christ is and are going to do in my life. I live in the freedom Jesus gave me and therefore I have hope in the things not yet seen.

What do you offer as life coach?
  1. Perspective: I hope to bring a new perspective and tools into your life while you create the most amazing future for yourself. I believe you already have it in you!
  2. Hearing yourself think: There is a lot of noise going around, literal noise and figurative internal noise. My job is to ensure you break through that so that you can think. Once you can hear yourself think I believe you can make the most outstanding choices.
  3. Facilitator: I will support you in staying on course, by keeping you on track with your action plan. Don’t worry if you don’t have any goals and action plans yet, I’ll guide you through that too.
  4. Connected heart: The first step is to connect with your inner core. The person you are meant to be and want to be, one of vision and purpose. I will support you in realising your dreams, passions and desires and in the process of getting to it.
  5. Achievement: I will support you in creating action steps towards your goals, encourage you along the way and make sure you stay focused on your action plans.
  6. Commitment: I will support and encourage you, even when you feel your own commitment lacking. I will support you in creating a threat support structure and in developing a strategy for addressing barriers.
  7. Affirmation: I will support you in acknowledging your desires, feeling the success and affirming and celebrating it along the journey.
  8. Choices: I will challenge you to make strong and positive life choices and support you in the understanding thereof.

You’ll notice there is a lot of “I will support you” and no “I will give you”. The reason for this is; you have more insight into your challenges, you have day to day and hour to hour details about it. You are the one thinking about it most of the time and you are the one going to gain or lose most out of it. You know what the problem is and probably have a solution too.

All I’m doing is partnering with you in a thought-provoking and creative process that will inspire you to reach your potential and to develop and plan the building blocks in getting there. Let’s be honest, even if I could give you your perfect life, it would have absolutely no worth or substance without the process of getting there yourself.

What is expected of me?
  1. Open up: I need you to be open and honest about your feelings, thoughts, life, and circumstances. The more you are willing to share, the better I can help you.
  2. Involvement: I want you to participate pro-actively during every session. I promise we will keep it fun. 🙂
  3. Open-minded: Have a willingness to explore possible solutions. I know, sometimes you’ve tried everything but just bear with me, I’m here to help. Open-mindedness is the key.
  4. Optimistic-realistic: Thinking optimistically yet realistically about life and circumstances. You need to know that anything is possible as long as there is a solid plan in place.
What is the cost involved?

Your first session is free. This session is to establish grounds, us getting to meet each other and to see if we are a good coach-coachee fit.

Your next session will be R350 for an hour session.

Will I get homework?

“I’m very busy, will I get homework to do?”

Yes. You will. But you will determine your own homework. After all, it’s about what you want. If you want the cake, then yes, your homework will probably be to bake or buy a cake… you want it, right?

How frequently should we meet?

I recommend a session once a week for an hour. The amount of sessions depends on what you want to achieve. There is no minimum or maximum amount of sessions required.

That been said, I highly recommend deciding on a given time beforehand so that you can hold yourself accountable and give it the proper time to develop. A popular time-period is 12 weeks (12 sessions).

I specialise in personal wellness, that is, the ability to be mentally, physically and psychologically healthy. In the process of becoming personally well, is the process of creating healthy habits and shifting certain aspects of you so that you can thrive and become the person you desire to be.
